The Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) guides students in finding their path and aligning their goals to prepare them for success. Moreover, it offers programs that are nationally recognized by the Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI) and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). 

The faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) is the most ancient on campus inhabited since 1990. At the time, it was known as the Faculty of Arts and Sciences because it offered programs in both streams.

The Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD) was officially established in 2009. The faculty offers bachelor's degree programs that are designed to prepare students for direct entry into professional academic practice. The core purpose of all FAD programs is to bridge the gap between theory and practice in architecture and design education.

The Faculty of Law (FOL) offers a Master of Law program which was established in the first semester of 2005/2006. This program aims to prepare professional legal staff and provide the legal library with exceptional legal research tools. The Faculty is eager to showcase programs that are related to local community development and electronic advances.

The Faculty of Nursing (FON) was established in 2006. The Faculty aspires to be a local and global pioneer in training qualified nurses and developing evidence-based knowledge to improve health care and empower society. Moreover, FON aims to be the best locally and regionally by creating an attractive and supportive environment to lead transformation and keep pace with changes, creativity, and innovation.

The Faculty of Pharmacy (FOP) was established in 1990 and is considered to be one of the tributaries of health education that contributes to the comprehensive development of health and medical services provided to citizens in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Faculty of Engineering (FOE) was established in 1991. Since then, it evolved to include five academic departments: Communications and Computer Engineering, Medical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering supervised by qualified and trained staff including faculty members and administrators.

The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences (FAMS) was established to encourage students to acquire a medical profession to be able to work in the healthcare sector since it is one of the branches of health education resources for the comprehensive renaissance in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The business School (BS) was established in 1990 and has quickly gained local and regional recognition. Supported by a shared aspiration for academic excellence and an innovative mindset, the School has made significant progress in advancing business literacy so that every student has the opportunity to innovate and follow their passions.

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (AT) is a promising academic establishment as it responds to national and international calls to meet global challenges influencing food security and climate change. The Faculty aims to add value in agricultural technology and food production, where students gain balanced learning in diverse skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and ethnic harmony to meet the needs of society and market requirements. Therefore, students are expected to engage with rural communities and participate in faculty activities throughout their time of the study.

The Faculty of Educational Sciences (FES) was established in 2021. The establishment of this Faculty responds to modern educational needs and contemporary developments surrounding the realities of higher education at the local, regional, and global levels.

Tourism is a powerful engine for the global economy and is driving the development and prosperity of many developing countries by providing millions of job opportunities and creating new jobs to meet the rapid growth in global tourism. The Jordanian tourism sector is the second largest contributor to the Kingdom’s gross national product and provides approximately 55 thousand jobs in various tourism sectors, of which approximately 77% work in hotels and restaurants. It is expected that this number will grow over the next five years at a rate of 3000 jobs annually.

The Faculty of Dentistry was established at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in 2023 in line with the university’s directions to achieve academic excellence and to achieve the university’s vision to include within its schools a leading school for dental education and research at the local and international levels. The Faculty of Dentistry has taken upon itself to graduate generations of dentists who enjoy scientific, moral and societal responsibility and are equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical and clinical experiences that enable them to practice dentistry at the highest levels of quality.

DEANSHIP OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

The Deanship of Scientific Research was established in 2005. It shoulders the responsibility of overseeing the development of basic and applied research. In 2018/2019, it became separated from Graduate Studies to focus on its vision and mission to upgrade the level and quality of scientific research toward internationalization at Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU).

DEANSHIP OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Deanship of Student Affairs was established as the Student Affairs Department in 1990. Then, it changed to the Deanship of Student Affairs at the beginning of the academic year 1993/1994 to formulate plans, initiate programs, and organize activities that encourage students to discover their talents, personal skills, and potential. Moreover, it is committed to supporting the students in its quest to create a productive, disciplined, and God-believing generation that values its host country, its language, cultural identity, and legacy.
