This study investigates the impact of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) on employee performance, using the experimental approach in Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Industrial Estates. The focus is on behavioral-based performance through four dimensions: self-efficacy, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and employee productivity. The sample consists of 44 employees from different departments distributed randomly into two groups.

Self-Perceived Burden of Patients’ Receiving Hemodialysis in Jordan: Association of Caregiver Burden and Sociodemographic Factors

 

This study aims at identifying, describing, and evaluating the relationship between patients' self-perceived burdens and their respective caregivers’ burdens in terms of socio-demographic characteristics. A cross-sectional study, examining 142 pairs of patients and informal caregivers; participants were recruited from outpatient hemodialysis units. Along with recording socio-demographic characteristics, the Self-Perceived Burden Scale, the Oberst Caregiving Burden Scale, the Bakas Caregiving Outcomes Scale, and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 were used for data collection.

Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice of Optometrists in Jordan towards Blue Light Blocking Ophthalmic Devices

 

This study aims at investigating the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practice habits of optometrists in Jordan toward blue light-blocking ophthalmic devices. A cross-sectional study was conducted using an online survey covering participants' sociodemographic characteristics, knowledge of sources of blue light, the potential effect of blue light on the eye, and the attitudes and perceptions of optometrists towards blue light filtering devices. Of the 381 participants, 67.2% have been prescribed blue light filtering devices, with the first pair of lenses prescribed in the year 2013. Only 11.9% of the prescribed spectacles were ordered with blue light-blocking filters, with 38.6% citing revenue.
