Memorandum of Understanding between AAU and Swiss Education Group (SEG)

AAU, represented by our President Prof. Sari Hamdan, signed an MoU with the Swiss Education Group (SEG), represented by Ms. Lubna Ali, Marketing and Development Director for the Middle East, accompanied by Ms. Mira Sameerat, Regional Director for the Middle East. The aim is to provide international education and training in the field of hospitality and tourism for students of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Anas Al-Saud, Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs/Director of the Global Engagement Center, Dr. Suzi Hatough, Dean of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, and Ms. Reem Abed, Head of Reputation and Communication at the Global Engagement Center. Professor Sari Hamdan emphasized that this agreement is a significant step towards enhancing the international standing of AAU in higher education and providing exceptional educational opportunities for its students in hospitality and tourism. The agreement aims to promote cultural exchange, conduct research, and enhance the skills of the faculty through joint programs. It also includes providing practical training programs for students at hotel and tourism establishments and laboratories of the universities affiliated with the Swiss Education Group (SEG) in Switzerland. The Swiss Education Group comprises four prestigious universities and academies in hospitality and tourism education: Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) Cesar Ritz Colleges- Switzerland Hospitality International Management School (HIM) Swiss Education Academy Following the signing, Prof. Sari Hamdan concluded the meeting by presenting the university's commemorative shield to the head of the delegation, in recognition of her and the delegation's significant visit to the university.
