Al-Ahliyya Amman University Strengthens Its International Academic Presence at MCCSIS 2026 – Valencia
Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the 20th Multi Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (MCCSIS 2026), held in Valencia, Spain, from 25–27 July 2026, through the participation of Dr. Maha Yaseen, a faculty member at the University, who presented a research paper and chaired one of the conference’s scientific sessions.
Dr. Yaseen presented a paper entitled:
ChatGPT in the Classroom: Language Learning, Identity, and Hybridity among Jordanian Generation Z in E-learning Contexts
The paper was presented at the 20th International Conference on e-Learning and Digital Learning (ELDL 2026), one of the specialized conferences held under the umbrella of MCCSIS 2026. The study examined the impact of integrating ChatGPT into e-learning environments, focusing on its influence on language learning, identity formation, and linguistic hybridity among Jordanian Generation Z students amid the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence applications in education.
In addition, Dr. Yaseen chaired the Higher and Further Education scientific session as part of MCCSIS 2026, moderating discussions on a number of research papers presented by scholars from universities and academic institutions around the world. This reflects Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s distinguished academic presence and the international recognition of the expertise of its faculty members.
