International Conference on Future Sustainability in Business: Al-Balqa Applied and Al-Ahliyya Amman Universities Collaborate

The first international conference titled "Future Sustainability of Business Environment: Practical Experiences" was inaugurated, marking a significant collaboration between Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) and Al-Balqa Applied University on May 7, 2024. The conference brought together numerous researchers and enthusiasts to discuss crucial topics related to sustainability in the business environment, including future challenges, sustainable marketing, social responsibility, sustainability systems for business intelligence, and digital transformation. Prof. Iman Al-Nazli, Dean of Scientific Research at AAU, opened the conference with a welcoming speech. "I am honored to represent Al-Ahliyya Amman University in this conference," she stated. "This distinguished event is the first of its kind held in collaboration between two prestigious universities in Al-Balqa Governorate. We are privileged to host the second day of the conference at AAU. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Prof. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, President of Al-Balqa Applied University, and Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of AAU, for their support in making this conference a success. We also appreciate all those involved in the organization and arrangements at both universities." The Deanship of Scientific Research at AAU is overseeing the review of research papers presented at the conference. These papers, focusing on sustainable development, will be published in a special issue of the Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies. The conference symbolizes the effective cooperation between the two universities, featuring the exchange of expertise, scientific research, community service, and research collaboration at regional and international levels. Researchers from various countries are participating, presenting papers on sustainable development. The submitted papers will undergo a review process by Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies department at AAU, ensuring their inclusion in the special conference issue. The event concluded with representatives from both universities exchanging tokens of appreciation and shields, celebrating their successful collaboration.
