Asian Gold for Al-Jaafari: Al-Ahliyya Amman University Champion Triumphs at Nagoya 2026

Al-Ahliyya Amman University karate champion and student Mohammad Al-Jaafari won the gold medal in the 84 kg category at the Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan, securing first place in his weight category. Al-Jaafari claimed the title after defeating Iranian athlete Ali Asghar, adding a new Asian achievement to his sporting record and further strengthening the presence of Al-Ahliyya Amman University athletes at continental and international sporting events. Al-Ahliyya Amman University congratulated champion Mohammad Al-Jaafari and the Jordan Karate Federation on this achievement, expressing its pride in his accomplishment and reaffirming its continued support for its student-athletes and encouragement of their pursuit of further achievements that raise the University’s name at sporting events.
