Faculty of Architecture and Design Hosts Workshop on Scientific Research Writing Using Microsoft Word

The Faculty of Architecture and Design kicked off the second session of its academic season for the current academic year with an insightful workshop on scientific research writing using Microsoft Word. Dr. Mazen Arbasi, a faculty member in the Interior Design Department, led the workshop on Thursday, November 2, 2023, through the Microsoft Teams application. The session covered formatting methods for scientific research pages, encompassing graduation projects and research published in Al-Balqa Journal for Research and Studies, issued by the Deanship of Scientific Research at our University. The workshop adhered to the guidelines provided by AAU's Deanship of Scientific Research and followed the American Psychological Association (APA) guide. Participation in the workshop was diverse, including faculty members and students from the Master's program in the Interior Design Department. The primary objective was to enhance students' skills in crafting graduation projects and master's theses. This workshop stands as a significant component of the scientific season initiated by the faculty, featuring a series of workshops and scientific lectures presented by esteemed faculty members.
