Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University concludes its students’ defenses of their master's theses for second semester.

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the Department of Interior Design:- Student Ala’ Obeid defended her master’s thesis entitled: Interactive Technology in Elements of Interior Design and Its Impact on the Behavior of Individuals in Hospitals: An Analytical Study of The Specialty Hospital in the Hashemite Kingdom of JordanThe panel consisted of the internal and external examiners:• Dr. Islam Obeidat/ supervisor and chair• Dr. Saba Al-Nusseirat/ internal examiner• Professor Dr. Mohammed Nassar/ University of Jordan – External examiner- Student Uday Al-Abadla defended his master’s thesis entitled: The Impact of Artificial Lighting in Highlighting the Aesthetic Values of Works of Art: A Case Study of Nabdh Gallery. The panel consisted of the internal and external examiners:• Dr. Rehab Ghoneim/ supervisor and chair • Dr. Basma Osama/ internal examiner• Dr. Mutassim Karabliya/ University of Jordan - External examinerOn Sunday, June 13, 2021, student Rinad Hossam Mohammed defended her master's thesis entitled: Using Natural Lighting Systems for Supporting Psychological Patients:Case Study Al- Rashid HospitalThe panel consisted of the internal and external examiners:• Dr. Rehab Ghoneim/ supervisor and chair• Dr. Basma Osama/ internal examiner• Dr. Mutassim Karabaliya/ University of Jordan - External examinerAll defense sessions were attended by: • Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Hourani, Dean of Graduate Studies• Prof. Dr. Mohammed Dabbaghia, Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies,in addition to a group of faculty members on the Graduate Studies Committee at the Faculty of Architecture and Design. The panels commended the efforts made and announced the awarding of a master's degree in Interior Design to the abovementioned students.
