Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design in the College of Architecture and Design organizes a field visit to the Innovation Lab in the College of Engineering

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design in the College of Architecture and Design at Amman University organized a field visit to the Innovation Lab in the College of Engineering on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, for students enrolled in the Modern Printing Techniques course. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Faten Al-Jazar, the course instructor and head of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design. The visit included a close look at the technology of 3D printing. Engineer Tareq Khreisat provided an introductory overview of the importance of 3D printing and its contribution in building complex models and shapes in various fields. It also covered specialized software, materials used, their usage, and the basic standards for preparing the 3D design model, leading to the final printing stage.
