AAU's Agricultural Tech Joins Al Hussein Fund Awards in Agriculture and Food Security

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at our AAU, represented by Engineers Manal Al-Khasawneh and Tasneem Ali, participated in the media campaign for Al Hussein Fund Awards spotlighting agriculture and food security. This coincides with the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II's ascension to constitutional powers. Spearheaded by the Director General of the National Agricultural Research Center and the Director General of Al Hussein Fund Awards for Excellence, the campaign aims to fuel innovative ideas and projects in agriculture and food security, nurturing them into practical ventures and connecting them with support services and accelerators. The awards, covering plant production, animal production, water, and the environment, offer substantial financial backing. Winners stand to receive 7,000 JD for first place, 5,000 JD for second, and 3,000 JD for third. Moreover, winners will benefit from financial and technical support, including a two-year stint at the Innovation and Agricultural Entrepreneurship Incubator at the National Center, ensuring their projects evolve into thriving commercial endeavors.
