AAU Participates in the 29th Arab Forum for Internship Exchange Among Arab Universities
Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by Dr. Mustafa Al-Atiyyat, Dean of Student Affairs, participated in the activities of the 29th Arab Forum for Internship Exchange among Arab Universities hosted by Erbil Technical University in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq from April 27th to 30th, 2024.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education in the Kurdistan Region, the Governor of Erbil, Dr. Idris Mohammed Taher, President of Erbil Technical University, and Dr. Fawaz Ahmed Al-Zaghloul, Director of the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation, along with several university presidents from Kurdistan and Arab countries.
This forum is one of the principal and essential activities of the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation, under the umbrella of the Association of Arab Universities, organized annually to exchange internship opportunities between Arab universities and institutions, and to expand collaborative frameworks among universities.
Representatives from Arab, Russian, and Malaysian universities and institutions participated in the forum, totaling 65 universities, institutes, and organizations from 13 countries, including Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Oman, UAE, Libya, Malaysia, Russia, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Morocco. Approximately 1200 internship opportunities were exchanged, set to be implemented during the summer of 2024.
