Women's Health Center Organizes Awareness Event in Deir Alla

The Women’s Health Center at Princess Iman Hospital in Deir Alla organized a three-day awareness event on August 13, 14, and 18, 2024. This event was held in collaboration with Al-Balqa Health Directorate, under the supervision of Dr. Sae’b Huwaytat, Director of Al-Balqa Health Directorate, and with the participation of USAID. Pharmacist Haneen Al-Momani from the university oversaw the event. The event targeted pregnant women visiting the hospital’s gynecology clinics. Nursing students from our AAU, under the guidance of a group of clinical instructors, conducted informative sessions on anemia and its impact on the health of mothers and their babies during pregnancy and childbirth. The management of Princess Iman Hospital praised the support and participation of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and expressed hope for continued fruitful collaboration in the future.
