The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in the meetings of the Executive Office of the Arab Federation for University Sports

Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and President of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities / Vice President of the Arab Federation for University Sports, participated in the 5th edition of the meetings of the Executive Office of the Arab Federation for University Sports, which was held in Al Ain / United Arab Emirates on 27 Dec 2022, on the sidelines of the II Zayed Arab Futsal Championship. In this meeting, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan presented the reports of the work of the Federation's committees and activities for the academic year 2022 and discussed the proposed agenda of activities for the Federation's championships and courses for the years 2023 and 2024, where it was agreed that Jordan will host the Arab Universities Taekwondo Championship during the year 2023 on a date to be determined later after coordination with the Jordanian Taekwondo Federation, in addition to approving the State of Palestine to host the Futsal Female Championship in June 2023, and approving Egypt to host the Triathlon Tournament in Basketball, Volleyball and Table Tennis for female students in October 2023, and approving Morocco to host the 3rd edition of Beach Games in May 2023 for male and female students. Furthermore, initial approval was given to the Royal Moroccan University Sports Federation to host the second student forum of Arab universities in May 2023. The participation of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities in the meetings of the Executive Office coincides with the II Zayed Arab Futsal Championship to build positive university sports relations between various students from all Arab countries and strengthen the bonds of cooperation between Jordanian university students and their peers from all Arab universities.
