The Nursing Faculty at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Holds Awareness Lectures for Women of Rawabi AsSalt Association

The Women's Health Center organized an awareness workshop for women of the Rawabi AsSalt Association entitled Through awareness we overcome the embarrassment of urinary incontinence, where the attendees were introduced to the causes of urinary incontinence, embarrassing symptoms caused by urinary incontinence, behavioral techniques, medications, surgeries to treat it and proper guidance to prevent it. The attendees also received a training in the most important exercises to be followed to strengthen the bladder muscle and pelvic floor to avoid urinary incontinence. The workshop was moderated by The Center's Director Dr. Rana Abu Hwaij with the participation of Dr. Zainab Zakaria and Dr. Farah Al-Mosuli of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Participants expressed their thanks and gratitude for the efforts made by the Center and the benefits gained from these workshops.
