The Jordanian Union of Insurance Companies Delivers a Lecture in the AAU

The AAU hosted the representatives of the Jordanian Union of Insurance Companies on Thursday, 7/12/2017. Mr. Maher Awad, the Director of the Studies, Training and Media Department; Mrs. Lubna Atiyat, the Director of the Department of Public Relations and Mr. Muhammad Al-Amaireh from the Union presented a working paper related to the insurance sector in Jordan. After this presentation which was attended by a number of members of the academic staff and the School of Business students, a discussion took place where students’ inquiries were answered. The Jordanian Union of Insurance Companies granted the University a training scholarship for three students. After the lecture, the Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Michelle Sweidan, held a meeting in the presence of the academic staff where he discussed the ways of joint cooperation between the insurance sector and the University.
