The Faculty of Pharmacy participates in the World Osteoporosis Awareness Day

On the International Osteoporosis Awareness Day, the Extracurricular Activities Committee of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University held an awareness day in Mecca Mall, on Saturday 29/10/2022 in cooperation with multiple pharmaceutical companies and medical Nano-laboratories. The event included measuring the rate of osteoporosis and spreading awareness brochures on osteoporosis among the attendees.Dr. Munther Al-Najjar provided advice for the participants on the use of osteoporosis medications, where Dr. Lubna Al-Gharaibeh raised awareness about healthy food to prevent osteoporosis.Dr. Bassam Abu Al-Soud and Dr. Randa Atwan organized this informative event. Al-Raqi and Al-Shajara Al-Mubarakah pharmaceutical companies gave away medications and vitamins such as Calcium and Vitamin-D to the patients and participants.
