The Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts Al-Balqa Islamic Schools – Salt
The Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, represented by Dr. Khaled Al-Hrireat, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Abu Hazeem, Vice Dean for Quality Affairs, and Dr. Iman Al-Wreikat, welcomed high school students (Grade 9) from Al-Balqa Islamic Schools – Salt on Monday, November 18, 2024.
During the visit, the students attended an awareness lecture on cybercrime. Dr. Khaled Al-Hrireat discussed cybercrime types, preventive measures, and procedures to follow in the event of a cybercrime. Dr. Mohammad Abu Hazeem addressed the topic of copyright issues concerning photographs shared on social media platforms and the ownership rights of these images. Meanwhile, Dr. Iman Al-Wreikat elaborated on fake links often targeted by hackers towards children and adults, strategies for dealing with strangers, and the importance of avoiding adding untrustworthy or unfamiliar individuals on social media.
At the conclusion of the session, the students were thanked for their participation and given a guided tour of the Faculty of Law and the IT Faculty laboratories.
