The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at AAU Participates in the 10th International Conference of the Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics

Students from our Medical Laboratory Sciences Department from the Allied Medical Sciences, specializing in Master's in Medical Laboratory Sciences, participated in lectures and events at the 10th International Conference of the Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics. The conference took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman, Jordan. The participating AAU students included Alaa Al-Asmar, Asil Wahdan, Sarah Al-Mashharawi, Lujain Al-Sharari, Nesreen Al-Rahahleh, in addition to Rahaf Al-Dabba from the University of Jordan. Students conducted research in research groups related to their theses focusing on fertility and reproductive disorders under joint supervision between AAU, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University, the University of Jordan, and Yarmouk University. This experience significantly expanded their knowledge and networks within the academic scientific community. The conference addressed critical issues affecting fertility, molecular genetics, and the latest assisted reproductive technologies, with distinguished speakers from the global, regional, and local scientific community. The Jordanian Society for Fertility and Genetics was established in December 1997 in Amman, Jordan, to fulfill the aspirations of fertility pioneers in Jordan. This professional society includes specialists in obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive medicine, embryology, and genetics.
