The Faculty of Agricultural Technology Participates in Petra Livestock Exhibition and Conference

Under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Khaled Hneifat, Petra Livestock Exhibition and Conference 2024 was inaugurated on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The event was organized by the Agricultural Engineers Association and the Arab Society for Animal Science, with Al Ahliyya Amman University represented at the opening ceremony by Dr. Subhiyya Saifan, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology. Attendees also included Engineer Ali Abu Nuqta, President of the Agricultural Engineers Association; Engineer Mohammad Swalmeh, President of the Arab Society for Animal Science; and Dr. Nabil Assaf, Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). It is noteworthy that Petra Exhibition showcases the latest technologies in livestock production, medicines, vaccines, and equipment. The conference is accompanied by 25 specialized scientific lectures addressing the critical role of food security systems, methodologies for preserving the agricultural sector, and its direct contribution to development, along with events from the Jordanian Bee Forum.
