The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design holds a lecture entitled Arabic Calligraphy - History and Arts

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design - Al-Ahliyya Amman University held a lecture entitled "Arabic Calligraphy - History and Arts" for the staff of the Manuscripts Center and Al-Aqsa Mosque Library on Microsoft Teams, on Saturday, 7 Jan 2023. The lecture was presented by Dr. Omran Hassan, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and a faculty member in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design. The lecture included several axes on the history of Arabic calligraphy, its types, the stages of development of Arabic calligraphy through the ages, the history and types of some fonts used in the Dome of the Rock. The lecture was attended by a number of employees of the Manuscripts Center, Al-Aqsa Mosque Library, and a number of students of the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design. This lecture comes in line with the objectives of the faculty in providing consultations that serve the regional community and contribute to emphasizing the presence of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in various institutions.
