The Department of Interior Design Participates in ASCAAD 2023 International Conference

Dr. Samar Abu Saleh, a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Interior Design, and Dania Hizam, a dynamic graduate of the Interior Design Master's program, showcased their expertise at the ASCAAD 2023 international conference hosted by Petra University's Faculty of Architecture and Design. The conference kicked off on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. Their active participation featured the presentation of a paper based on Dania Hizam's master's thesis, titled "Application of Visual Heritage Elements to Enhance Identity in Contemporary Interior Design: Case Study - The Presidency Building at Yarmouk University." The research underscored the pivotal role of incorporating heritage elements in interior design to safeguard cultural identity, significantly contributing to elevating the visual identity of the university.
