The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Maher Shorbaji, meets new students for the year 2010-2011 in the presence of faculty members

Dr. Maher Shorbaji, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, met the new students of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2010-2011. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Faculty welcomed the students and expressed his happiness with their presence and joining the Faculty. He talked about the Faculty majors and study plans and how to interact with the faculty members. He also tackled the academic assessment of students, and the importance of their participation and making use of the academic activities that prepare them for the labor market. He stressed the importance of constant communication with students to get better results. Dr. Shorbaji addressed the activities of the Advisory Council and its advantages to the students. He noted the role of the students office at the Faculty to help students obtain the information they need in research activities and respond to their queries. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Maher Shorbaji, referred to the Pharmacy Conference to be held in May 2011. He listened to the ideas proposed by students wishing to participate in the conference. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Shorbaji wished the students further progress and success.
