The AAU’s Business School Hosted A Lecture Titled “Neuromarketing & Neuro lingustic Programming”
The AAU’s Business School hosted Dr. Ayman Al-Katalan, who is an expert in the sciences of excellence and outstanding performance. He delivered a lecture titled “Neuromarketing& Neuro lingustic Programming” to the students enrolled in the Consumer’s Behavior Course. This lecture which took place in July 30, 2017 was attended by the Dean of the Business School.In the framework of “Neuromarketing”, the guest discussed the recent trend regarding the transformation which meets the customers’ needs to create new customers. This can be achieved by focusing on the effect of the brain nervous system on the human five senses of the customers (sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing), to promot his/her desire level and to control his/her purchase decision in buying a specific brand. The lecturer also discussed many practical applications and showed the methods used in affecting each consumer’s sense. In the framework of (Neuro Linguistic Programming), he discussed the components of the communication process as reached by the latest scientific research namely, body language, tone of the voice and finally the spoken language. He explained some methods and techniques of developing the sale representative’s communication capabilities in each component of this communication process. The goal is to raise his/her communication skills and to influence the consumer to perform a successful sale process.It is worth noting that Dr. Ghyyath Al-Turjman, Associate Prof, from the Business School/Marketing Department supervised this lecture.
