The AAU Faculty of Pharmacy Holds A Consultative Workshop

Under the auspices of Prof. Sari Hamdan, the AAU President, the Deanship of the Faculty of Pharmacy represented by its Dean, Prof Muhammad Al-Tanani met with a group of leading professional figures of employers and representatives of the health sector institutions. It is worth mentioning that this meeting was attended by the Faculty of Pharmacy Deputy Deans, Dr. Naim Shaalan and Dr. Bilal Al-Najjar, heads of departments and faculty members. This meeting aimed to establish an effective partnership between the University and employers and to study the extent to which the learning outcomes of the offered academic programs meet the requirements and needs of the labor market from the viewpoint of employers. This meeting also aimed to prepare new generations who enjoy the critical thinking and teamwork and who are equipped with the skills needed to compete in this era.The meeting started with a welcome speech delivered by Prof. Muhammad Al-Tanani, the Dean of the Faculty and followed by the speech of the Deputy Dean for Quality Affairs, Dr. Bilal Al-Najjar. During this meeting an introductory video about the Faculty and its achievements was displayed. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Muhammad Al- Tanani presided over this meeting where the guests’ proposals and recommendations were discussed.The meeting was attended by Prof. Adnan Badwan, the President of the Arab Union of the Manufactures of Pharmaceuticals & Medical Appliance, Dr. Mohamed Khalil, the Director General of the ACDIMA Bio Center, the PharmD Anas Al-Momani, the Sales Manager of Ferring Pharmaceuticals Company and the pharmacist Abdullah Azzam, the Marketing Director of the Baby Cord Center and Mrs. Doaa Abu Alia, the Director of Human Resources for the Novo Nordisk Company.
