The AAU Department of Graphic Design Organizes An Exhibition Titled “Light, Color and Freedom”

Under the patronage of the AAU President, Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the Department of Graphic Design organized an exhibition for the works of students from different departments of the Faculty of Architecture & Design on Wednesday, 14/3/2018 in the ‘Saltus’ Hall for Arts. The exhibition was attended by Prof. Ehsan Fathi, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Omran Hasan, the Head of the Department of Graphic Design, the Heads of the Departments and the academic members as well as the Faculty’s students.This exhibition contained 120 artistic works, including 57 in photography and digital photography materials and 63 in free hand drawing, photography, graphic design techniques and Arabic calligraphy as well as ornament. The exhibition was characterized by introducing students to the latest artistic experiences and training on advanced techniques, especially in the field of photography & digital photography, free drawing, photography and Arabic calligraphy. In this exhibition, light played a key element in those works and color was as a common factor.The exhibition provided students with the freedom to express various topics included the silent nature, landscapes, human face, components of Arabic calligraphy and ornament as well as the techniques of digital photography & photography used in nature, human face, products, dishes, people in works (humanist photography), night and architecture photography along with topics in the field of photography.
