Remarkable Achievement for Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s Engineering Faculty with EU Approval of Graduate Employability Project

The Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University has achieved a notable milestone, adding to its growing record of academic and research excellence, with the approval of its proposed project under the European Union’s Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program. The results were recently announced by the European Commission in Brussels. This accomplishment is the result of dedicated efforts and continuous follow-up by the university's leadership, the faculty dean, and its academic staff—under the active leadership of Dr. Wala’a Al-Samadi. The accepted project, titled: “Enhancing Engineering Graduates’ Employability through Innovation, Networking, Collaboration, and Curriculum Modernization” (Eng-Inc), aims to strengthen engineering students' practical and employability skills prior to graduation. It includes the launch of a specialized training diploma program supervised by the Faculty of Engineering at AAU. The project brings together a network of local and international partners from Germany (project lead), Portugal, Cyprus, Jordan, and Palestine, reflecting a strong cross-border collaborative spirit and further elevating the university's regional and international standing. This selection serves as a testament to the academic excellence and innovation capacity of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and underscores its leadership in developing programs that address labor market needs and prepare graduates for future challenges.
