Professor Sari Hamdan Receives the Iraqi Cultural Attaché and Meets with Graduate Students
Professor Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, welcomed Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Ameen, the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Jordan, who met with Iraqi graduate students as part of the Attaché’s ongoing efforts to follow up on students’ academic affairs and ensure their needs are addressed. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sa’eda Al-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
During the visit, Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Ameen highlighted the significant academic and administrative support provided by Al-Ahliyya Amman University to Iraqi students, expressing appreciation for the constructive cooperation between the university and the Cultural Attaché in fostering an educational environment that supports students’ academic success.
The discussion also covered key academic directives, including guidelines for selecting thesis topics, requirements for preparing research according to the university’s approved standards, and the procedures for certifying academic degrees. The importance of adhering to regulations governing graduate studies was also emphasized.
Professor Hamdan affirmed the university’s commitment to offering strong academic and administrative support for international students, and to maintaining active communication with the official bodies responsible for their affairs. He noted that such cooperation contributes to enhancing the quality of the educational experience and strengthening the excellence of the university’s academic outcomes.
