Professor Sari Hamdan Meets with Jordanian Nursing Graduates on Scholarship Program in Austria

• The scholarship recipients express their gratitude to Al-Ahliyya Amman University for its generous initiative in training and employing Jordanian nursing graduates in Austria. • After their arrival in Austria, the scholarship recipients presented the university's honorary shield to the Project Manager of the Vienna Nurses Scholarship Program. Al-Ahliyya Amman University President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, met with Jordanian nursing graduates on a scholarship employment program in Austria, which aims to provide exceptional career opportunities for Jordanian professionals in the nursing field. At the start of the meeting, Prof. Hamdan welcomed the graduates and encouraged them to make the most of this unique opportunity, emphasizing the importance of dedication and hard work in enhancing the reputation of Jordanian nursing abroad. He assured them that the university would continue its unwavering support by offering training and employment opportunities across various fields, in collaboration with international institutions. Dr. Hamdan pointed out that this program is a significant opportunity for Jordanian nursing graduates, as it covers all training, travel, accommodation expenses, and provides a generous monthly salary, funded by the Vienna Medical Group, which aims to attract distinguished Jordanian talent in the field. He also noted that participants would receive permanent residency in Austria and have the opportunity to apply for Austrian citizenship after fulfilling the required legal duration. This initiative is part of a recent agreement signed by Al-Ahliyya Amman University with the University of Applied Sciences Vienna and the Vienna Health Group, aimed at fostering academic and employment cooperation between Jordan and Austria in the healthcare sector. The graduates expressed their gratitude to Al-Ahliyya Amman University for its unique and important initiative to train and employ Jordanian nursing graduates in Austria. They assured the university they would represent Jordan with pride in their training and professional work. Upon their arrival in Austria, accompanied by Dr. Maha Yassin, Language Program Coordinator at the Faculty of Arts, and Ms. Iman Al-Tally, Head of International Programs at the university, the graduates presented a commemorative plaque to Mr. Leopold Liechtenstein, Project Manager of the Nurses4Vienna Project. This gesture was a token of appreciation for the University of Applied Sciences Vienna and the Vienna Health Group.
