President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Visits Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)
Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, visited Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Brussels, where he met with Prof. Dr. Anne Vimperg, Vice President for External Relations and Development Cooperation, to discuss ways to strengthen academic cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting reviewed areas of collaboration established since 2019 and explored opportunities for further development, particularly in student and faculty exchange, joint research, and academic mobility programs.
Prof. Hamdan stated that the visit reflects the university’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships and highlighted the importance of cooperation with ULB in enhancing educational quality and opportunities for students and faculty.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Delphine Louers from ULB and Dr. Firooz Abu Suwailem, Director of the Global Engagement Center at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
Dr. Hamdan also met with Al-Ahliyya Amman University students participating in the Erasmus+ mobility program at ULB, including Lian Shaheen, Leen Zahran, Joudy Barqawi, and Rama Al-Jallad, and discussed their academic experiences and integration into the university environment.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening internationalization and developing sustainable long-term institutional cooperation that benefits students, faculty, and researchers at both universities.
