President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Honors Dr. Walaa Al-Samadi for Excellence in a Distinguished European Project

Professor Sari Hamdan, President of AAU, honored Dr. Walaa Al-Samadi from the Faculty of Engineering in recognition of her excellence in leading a distinguished academic project that was recently accepted under the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program funded by the European Union, whose results were recently announced by the European Commission in Brussels. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor Bashar Al-Tarawneh, and the Director of the Global Engagement Center, Dr. Fayrouz Abu Sweilem, attended the honoring ceremony. The accepted project is titled: "Enhancing Employability and Skills of Engineering Graduates through Innovation, Networking, Collaboration, and Curriculum Modernization" (Eng-Inc). The project aims to develop the practical and employability skills of engineering students by launching a specialized training diploma, overseen by the Faculty of Engineering at the university. Professor Hamdan emphasized that this project represents a significant addition to the university’s academic journey and reflects its capability to engage in ambitious international initiatives that contribute to the development of higher education and enhance the competitiveness of graduates in the job market. He also praised the efforts of the Faculty's leadership and faculty members who contributed to the preparation and development of the project.
