Performing the Educational Play (Almayah) at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Prof. Sari Hamdan, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, sponsored the comic educational play (Almayah) starring artists Hassan Sabayleh and Rania Ismail (Zaal and Khadrah) as part of a national campaign by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation to educate and promote the role of the Jordanian citizen in maintaining and rationalizing water sources. The play addressed the importance of water in our lives, due to the fact that Jordan is one of the poorest cities in the world of water resources. The play confirms that the preservation of water sources is an urgent need, and calls on everyone to cooperate to preserve these resources, protect them from misuse and use them only for the permitted purposes. The performance was attended by a number of faculty members, administrative staff, and a large gathering of students. At the end of the performance, the President of the University presented the University Shield to the artists participating in the play.
