Orientation Meeting for the Faculty of Law Students for the Academic Year 2024-2025
The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Osaid Al-Thunaibat, welcomed new students enrolled for the second semester in an introductory meeting. During the gathering, he emphasized the significance of studying law and thanked the students for choosing this distinguished field. He highlighted the importance of allowing legal studies to positively shape the student’s character and behavior within society, stressing the need for law students to develop strong leadership qualities both during their studies and after graduation. As future advocates for the rule of law, they carry an important message to promote justice and legal awareness.
The Dean also encouraged students to prepare and review their lectures consistently and to attend classes regularly, making the most of the expertise offered by the faculty members. He underscored the value of active participation inside the classroom and in extracurricular activities, including community service initiatives.
Professor Al-Thunaibat emphasized the importance of creativity and innovation, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting student talents and initiatives. The meeting was attended by the Vice Deans and Heads of Academic Departments.
During the session, the Dean also spoke about the faculty’s quality culture and the importance of its vision, mission, goals, and core values, encouraging students to work towards realizing them in practice.
