Opening the Virtual Pharmacy in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed, President of the University, the virtual pharmacy was opened in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences. This initiative is in line with the University aspiration to foster progress and excellence in the process of learning and education. The University is keen to achieve quality outputs that cope with the labor market and promote effective partnerships between the University and civil society institutions which will bridge the gap between them and provide the labor market with graduates equipped with knowledge, skills and professional ethics. In his speech, the President of the University noted that through the efforts of good people in this beloved country monuments are built to advance the position of the country and the elite status of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, which is the first private university in the region. Al-Ahliyya Amman University will always stand out in all fields and services and will remain committed and continue to provide the best in order to achieve distinctive and competitive outputs. HE Dr. Mohammed Ababneh, Chairman of the Pharmacists Association, praised the efforts of the University administration and faculty members to improve the quality of the Faculty. This was reflected in the remarkable grades and positions achieved by Al-Ahliyya Amman University students in the Association membership examination. The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Rohi Kilani, Director and Owner of Rohi Pharmacy Chain, the main sponsor of the virtual pharmacy, and a large gathering of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. At the end of the ceremony HE Dr. Hamed presented Al-Ahliyya Amman University shields to the Chairman of the Pharmacists Association and to the General Manager of Rohi Pharmacy Chain.
