New Book Issued by the Dean of AAU Faculty of Architecture and Design Titled “Iraq: Genius Loci”

Prof. Ihsan Fathi, the Arab Architect and the AAU Dean of Faculty of Architecture and Design released his new book concerning achievements of Iraq and Iraqis across history titled “Iraq: Genius Loci” in Arabic and English languages. This book which is noted for its contents and elegant design was published in October 2017 by Al-Adeeb House in Amman. The book consists of 312 pages and contains 1000 images illustrating cultural achievements realized by the Iraqis since seven thousand years up to these days. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Ihsan Fathi has been working in the University since 1999 and was the first Dean for the Faculty of Arts. He also published several research papers and books in addition to being an expert in the UNESCO Organization in the area of preserving cultural heritage in the Arab World.
