MoU between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the French Institute in Amman

Prof. Sari Hamdan, our university President, welcomed a delegation from the French Embassy in Jordan. The delegation included Mr. Gilles Rolland, Director of Cooperation and Cultural Counselor at the Embassy; Ms. Jennifer Hakim, Coordinator of French and Francophone Education; and Ms. Laetitia Barbier, Director of the French Institute in Amman. This visit came as part of enhancing academic and cultural cooperation between the university and French institutions. During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Language Center at our university and the French Institute in Amman, in the presence of Prof. Hanan Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Director of the Language Center, and Dr. Maha Yaseen, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Coordinator of the Language Center. This agreement aims to teach the French language at the university and develop students' skills in French, enabling them to benefit from the educational and cultural opportunities that this language provides. Prof. Sari Hamdan emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening academic relations with French educational institutions, highlighting its role in supporting students and enabling them to achieve their academic and professional aspirations. For their part, the members of the French delegation expressed their pleasure with the cooperation, stressing the importance of enhancing cultural and scientific exchange between the two countries. At the end of the meeting, following the signing, Prof. Sari Hamdan presented the university's commemorative shield to Mr. Gilles Rolland in appreciation of the delegation's visit to the university.
