MoU Between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Al-Yad Al-Musaneda for Consulting and Training

AAU, represented by our President Prof. Sari Hamdan, signed a memorandum of understanding for implementing training programs with Al-Yad Al-Musaneda for Consulting and Training, represented by its General Manager Mr. "Mohammad Ali" Fawaz Mansour. The agreement aims to provide diploma-level training and short courses in hospitality and tourism within the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dr. Ashraf Jahmani, and the Head of the Programs and Professional Courses Department at the Faculty, Chef Maysa Hasiba. The goal of this agreement is to supply the tourism sector with qualified human resources and meet the demand for skilled employees, aiming to elevate the quality of services provided and support the development seen in Jordan and the Gulf region in the restaurant, hotel, and hospitality industries. The agreement focuses on training in these fields, attracting students from Jordan, the Middle East, and the Gulf region, providing them with necessary experience, enhancing their skills, and supplying tourism establishments with qualified personnel in various areas, including those with passion for the field and those seeking to develop their skills. Additionally, the agreement will offer diploma programs and short courses in culinary arts, food and beverage management, and hospitality with certifications accredited by Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. These programs will take place at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and conclude with training at five-star hotels in Jordan. This agreement marks an important step in enhancing AAU’s position in the field of technical and training diplomas, providing outstanding educational opportunities for students in hospitality and tourism, preparing them to become proficient in the profession. It is noted that these certificates do not lead to an academic degree and will not be counted if the student wishes to continue their academic studies to obtain an academic degree.
