Memorandum of Understanding Between Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Al-Hussein Society for Training and Inclusion
President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Hussein Society / Jordan Center for Training and Inclusion, represented by its Executive Director Ms. Ani Abu Hanna. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ghaleb Uraiqat, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, and Dr. Saad Al-Nassan, Head of the Departments of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy at the university.
This agreement aims to strengthen joint cooperation between the two parties in the fields of scientific research, training, and the exchange of academic and professional expertise, in a way that contributes to serving children with disabilities and developing training and rehabilitation programs.
Under the memorandum, the two sides will collaborate in organizing joint research and training activities, exchanging expertise in diagnosis, training, and educational inclusion, in addition to preparing applied research, and organizing scientific conferences and specialized workshops. The agreement also includes providing practical training opportunities for undergraduate students in the physiotherapy and occupational therapy programs at Al-Hussein Society, in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of both parties.
On this occasion, Prof. Sari Hamdan emphasized that the signing of the memorandum with Al-Hussein Society reflects the university’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with leading national institutions, thereby enhancing scientific research, practical training, and providing students with an advanced learning environment that positively impacts community service.
For her part, Ms. Ani Abu Hanna expressed her pride in partnering with Al-Ahliyya Amman University, stressing that this agreement will support the society’s efforts in training, rehabilitation, and inclusion, while enhancing the level of services provided to children with disabilities, in line with the society’s mission of serving humanity and the community.
