Masters Student of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Presents Working Paper in ISTMID Conference

Hussein “Mohammad Ali” Al-Kayali, Communications Engineering MA student of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, participated with his research paper entitled “Convoluted Frequency Selective Surface Wallpaper to Blok the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical Radio Bands Inside Buildings” in Information Systems and Technology Management for Innovation and Regional Development Conference (ISTMID) 2013. The research features development of the principle of protecting communications systems from extraneous signals through the use of paper wall filters to prevent undesired wireless signals from entering the buildings and rooms, which eliminates overlapping and inconsistency between the external and internal signals using the same carrier frequency. This also gives internal wireless communication system security against external intrusions by intruders. It is worth mentioning that this research was supervised by Dr. Nidal Kassem, and is published also in AASRJ “American Academic & Scholarly Research Journal” prior to the date of discussing his MA thesis entitled “Controlling the Propagation of 2.4GHz Signals by Using the Convoluted Frequency Selective Surfaces”.
