Lecture on “Narcotic Drugs, Tables and How to Deal with Narcotic and Psychotropic Drugs” at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Pharmacist Field Training Committee, at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University held a lecture on “Narcotic Drugs, Tables and How to Deal with Narcotic and Psychotropic Drugs”, delivered by Dr. Hayam Wahba, Head of Narcotic and Psychotropic Drugs Division at Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Wahba talked about the nature of these substances, their categories, and how to deal with these substances. She explained the effective role of pharmacists in reducing the prevalence of erroneous use of drugs in the community. The lecture aims to raise health awareness and positive interaction, bridge the gap between community institutions and the University and refine the professional pharmacist character of students. The lecture was attended by the Chairman and members of the Pharmacist Field Training Committee, Dean of Faculty, and a group of students.
