Knowledge and experience exchange lecture for faculty members and higher education students in Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Tanani and organized by Dr. Naeem Shaalan, Head of The Department of Pharmaceuticals and Technology, and as part of the series of lectures Sharing knowledge and experiences for faculty members and graduate students, Professor Dr. Nidal al-Masri of Al-Hussein Cancer Center delivered a lecture entitled A Journey to Pathology on Thursday, 2 June 2022 at the Mahmoud Darwish Amphitheater and in the presence of a large number of faculty members and graduate students of the faculty.His lecture focused on his journey with pathology, methods and techniques used in the diagnosis and detection of various cancer tumors and how to treat them in the latest modern ways.Dr. Nidal al-Masri holds a Diploma in Pathology in three fields: Anatomical Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Hematology, as well as the Jordanian Board of Pathology.He served as an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Florida for three years, served as professor of pathology at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and served as Head of Pathology and Co-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.He helped establish King Abdullah University Hospital and served as head of the clinic department as an affairs officer for three years.He opened the Museum of Pathology at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in the 1990s.He established the Department of Pathology at Saad Specialist Hospital, which received 5 international accreditations from the American College of Pathologists, as well as 5 international funds by the American Blood Banks Association.He served as the leader of the inspection team and the accreditation of pathology departments throughout the Middle East.He served as President of the Jordanian Board of Pathology for 4 years.And last but not least, he has published more than 40 papers, mostly in highly indexed international journals.
