International Women's Day

Within Jordan celebrations of International Women's Day, which will fall on Sunday, 08/3/2015, Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in this celebration by launching an initiative by student Maha Al-Amad of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at the University who is active in the field of women's rights, and by Feminists of Jordan Institution, which is specialized in feminism in Jordan. During the initiative, purple banners were distributed to highlight the importance of International Women's Day, which is dedicated to celebrate the achievements of women and their most important issues, and to demonstrate the services provided by women to the community. Women constitute half of the society and have actively contributed in the construction and progress of Jordan.
