A team of three students, namely Abdul Rahman Aziz Mehyar, Banan Muhammad Masalha, and Majd Mahmoud Said, from the Multimedia and Graphic Design Department participated in the "Game Fest" Hackathon, themed around environmental awareness and water security.
The Computer Graphics Department at King Hussein Faculty of Computing Sciences/Princess Sumaya University organized the competition in collaboration with the American Embassy in Jordan. Fourteen universities participated, along with the Royal Scientific Society.
The students presented a game design project using specialized computer programs. Dr. Hanan Sheikh, a faculty member of the department, attended the closing events of the competition, and the participating students received certificates of participation.
This initiative is part of the faculty's mission to prepare students capable of working and competing, enhancing the self-learning skills of the faculty's students, developing teamwork skills, and providing opportunities to work with others and exchange ideas.
