Hourani is the President of Arena Club

Dr. Maher Ahmad Al-Hourani was recommended to have the presidency of Arena Club. The recommendation was taken in the meeting of the club's general assembly held in the AAU club at AAU. The meeting was attended by the director of the Capital's Youth Directorate Dr. Hussein Jbour, the Chairman of the Clubs, Ali Obaidat, and Mahmoud Kilan, from the Capital's Youth Directorate. During the meeting, the general assembly approved the administrative and financial reports for 2016 and 2017, together with the election of the new Board of Directors of the Club by acclamation. It consists of Dr. Awni Shanableh VP, Zuheir Abbasi Secretary and Spokesman, Omran Eisha register, «Sports Committee Chairman Dr. Mohamed Mubaidin», Nader Swedan, the «International relations and Marketing Committee Chairman, Dr. Ghalib Erekat «Cultural Committee Chairman, Dr. Hosny Saud Social Committee Chairman, Eyad Shaaban Relations Committee Chairman, and the vigilance of both Dr. Omar Shammout and Fadi Al-Nouri.
