Honorary Ceremony for Faculty, Administrative Staff and Graduates of the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University
The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a ceremony in honor of the faculty, administrative staff and graduate students of the Faculty under the auspices of the President of the University, and in the presence of the Kuwaiti Cultural Attache Dr. Mohammed Al-Thufairi. Prof. Dr. Sadeq Hamed welcomed the guests and expressed his pride in the students of the Faculty of Nursing. The University is pleased to graduate students qualified for the domestic and Arab market, he added. He wished the students continued progress and success. Dr. Aliya Mahadeen, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, confirmed in her speech that the University is celebrating the graduation of students with outstanding performance who have made great effort to complete the bachelors degree requirements, which will be the starting point in their career life. She underscored the role of the students of the Faculty in providing nursing care in health and sickness times and improving the nursing profession locally and globally by means of coping up with scientific developments at all levels to raise healthcare level. The ceremony included singing and entertainment sketches and a speech delivered by student Ibtihal Shameih in which she expressed the students pleasure to meet the group of distinguished professors. She also noted the remarkable medical reputation of Al-Ahliyya Amman University which is renowned for its potential and achievements. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Hamed presented commemorative shields to faculty, administrative staff and graduate students granted by the Faculty of Nursing.
