Head of Jordanian Pharmacist Union praises (AAU) s excellence in the fields of education and pharmaceutical training
The head of Jordanian Pharmacist Union, Dr. Muhammad Ababneh, and the Secretary of the Union, Mr. Zaid Al-Kilany, have visited Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) where they were received by the President of the University, Professor Sadeq Hamid, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ghaleb Oreiqat, and Faculty members. In their meeting with Professor Hamid, the guests discussed the cooperation sides between the Union and University. Dr. Ababneh emphasised the importance of cooperation with all universities, especially pharmacy colleges to develop the profession of pharmacy and the Jordanian universities alumni. Then, Dr. Ababneh, Mr. Al-Kilany, Dr. Oreiqat and Dr. Ghaleb Sabbarini, Deputy Dean of Pharmacy, met with more than three hundred pharmacy students at AAU, where Dr. Ababneh delivered a speech about the conditions and goals of training and exams and the conditions of enrolling in the Pharmacist Union for Jordanian and foreign students. He promised to make frequent meetings as a service to the pharmacy profession, and he answered students’ inquiries regarding the conditions and hours of training, especially for non-Jordanian students. Also in this meeting, the Deanship of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences announced the beginning of virtual pharmacy on- campus to orient the students taking Training Project under the supervision of the college professors.
