Faculty of Pharmacy Participation in the Al-Razi Interprofessional Health Education Competition
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the Al-Razi Interprofessional Health Education Competition, held at Zarqa Private University on 20 May 2026, with the participation of students from different health-related disciplines.
This participation reflects the Faculty’s commitment to promoting interprofessional education and strengthening collaborative practice among healthcare students. The competition provided students with an interactive learning opportunity to discuss clinical cases, identify patient care priorities, enhance patient safety, and develop integrated care plans through teamwork and shared decision-making.
Al-Ahliyya Amman University was represented by Ms. Laila Al-Morah Li from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mr. Ahmad Al-Zoubifrom the Faculty of Dentistry, Ms. Lana Al-Khatib from the Faculty of Nursing, and Ms. Batool Al-Masri from the Medical Laboratory Sciences program. The team was supervised by Dr. Anas Abed and Dr. Abeer Shenoufda from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
During the competition, students engaged in structured interprofessional clinical discussions that emphasized communication, role clarification, clinical reasoning, professional accountability, and patient-centered decision-making. Such activities contribute to preparing healthcare students for collaborative practice in real clinical settings.
This participation aligns with the Faculty of Pharmacy’s ongoing efforts to support active learning, experiential education, and interprofessional collaboration, in accordance with contemporary standards of pharmacy education and accreditation expectations.
