Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Participates in Community Activities

In terms of active participation and bridging the gap between the University and local community institutions, Dr. Samir Qamaz, Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Pharmacist Field Training Affairs in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, held a panel discussion for the pharmacists graduates of non-Jordanian universities on Saturday, 20/10/2012. The meeting lasted for four hours and was attended by a group of pharmacist graduates from Ukraine, Egypt, Britain, Pakistan, Turkey, Algeria, Syria, Canada, United Arab Emirates and Palestine. During the meeting, there was extensive review and discussion of subjects and courses of Pharmacy curricula, including without limitation, general chemistry, biochemistry, plant chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmacology and treatments. Communication and practical skills in the pharmacy industry were also tackled in the meeting.
