Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Wins First Place and Will Represent Jordan in the 2026 Arab Moot Court Competition
The Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University achieved a remarkable academic and legal accomplishment by securing first place at the national level in Jordan, earning the highest scores and becoming the official representative of Jordan in the 12th Arab Moot Court Competition in 2026.
The competition is scheduled to take place at the University of Sharqiya in the Sultanate of Oman from April 5 to 7, 2026, under the patronage of the Kuwait International Law School.
This achievement was made possible with the direct support of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Asid Al-Dhuneibat, and through the participation of students Joud Al-Shkheibi, Anas Qutaishat, and Sara Al-Nasour, who demonstrated advanced legal proficiency and practical skills in advocacy and legal analysis.
The team was supervised and trained by Dr. Saddam Al-Awaisheh as the main advisor, along with Dr. Tareq Al-Nasour and Dr. Anas Abdulrahman. Their combined academic and professional expertise contributed to preparing the team and enabling it to achieve this outstanding result.
This victory underscores the leading position of the Faculty of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University at both the national and Arab levels and reflects the university’s commitment to promoting practical legal education and preparing highly capable legal professionals ready to excel in regional and international arenas.
