Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Provides Laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy with Electronic Devices Created by Students

Within the applied research activities carried out by the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, students Zaid Zakharia, Shireen Barghouti, Muhannad Faza and Yasmin Abbas of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, designed a high-precision digital device for measurement of the temperature of the surrounding environment with high responsiveness. The device is user-friendly, and features remote viewing and modern design. The device is manufactured using a small number of electronic parts, which lead to lower cost without compromising the quality and effectiveness. The device was tested successfully and was used in the graduates’ laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmacy. This step marks the beginning of cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University. It is worth mentioning that there are other devices under study and development, which will be provided to the Faculty of Pharmacy upon completion of the relevant study. The project was implemented under the management and supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Shara and Dr. Bashar Nazeeh of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the University.
