Faculty of Architecture and Design Participates in National Workshop within the “Women on the Green Path” Project

Dr. Saba Nseirat, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, participated in the national workshop held as part of the “Women on the Green Path” project. The workshop was organized by the Edama Association for Energy, Water, and Environment and included a distinguished group of experts and stakeholders in sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental fields. The workshop aimed to review the findings of joint research conducted between Jordan, Tunisia, and Morocco, focusing on empowering women in the green and circular economy and enhancing their active participation in economic activities. It also included an analysis of strategies supporting women’s roles in this field, with an emphasis on opportunities to expand their involvement across various aspects of the green economy. During the workshop, participants discussed recommendations, exchanged views, and explored practical proposals aimed at advancing women’s empowerment and strengthening their professional presence in this promising and sustainable sector. This participation reflects Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s ongoing commitment to supporting environmental transformation efforts, empowering women in sustainable development sectors, and fostering partnerships between academic institutions and civil society to achieve national development goals.
